Martha L. (Scott) Denning, died Sunday, December 3, 2017 at South County Hospital. She was the wife of the late Duane Denning. Born in West Leechburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Scott & Agnes (Smail) Scott.

Mrs. Denning was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She leaves her loving son, Donald Denning & his wife Rose of Chula Vista, CA. She was the mother of the late Sharon L. Cole. She was the mother-in-law of Alfred T. "Butch" Cole and his companion Holly Pierce of North Kingstown. Cherished grandmother of Christian Cole & his wife Janette of North Kingstown, Matthew Cole of North Kingstown, Donald Denning, Jr. of Chula Vista, CA, and great-grandmother of Tyffany Cole of FL, Dylan Cole of FL, Pvt. Alexander Huling-Caddick of North Kingstown, and Austin Price of North Kingstown.

Her Funeral Service will be held Monday, December 11, 2017 at 11:00 am in THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 West Main Street, Wickford Village, North Kingstown. Burial will follow in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. Relatives & friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 3:00-5:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to Hope Hospice, 1050 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 will be appreciated.
