Wilson H. Brown, 86, of Warwick died unexpectedly on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Kent Hospital in Warwick. He was the beloved husband of sixty-one years to Mary T. (O'Brien) Brown.

Born in Providence, Wilson was a son of the late Leonard H. and Clara A. (Priestley) Brown.

Wilson received an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Bryant College, Class of 1955. He was employed as a Mail Carrier for the US Postal Service at the Warwick Branch for thirty-three years, retiring in 1992. During the Korean Conflict, Wilson honorably served in the US Army.

Wilson was an avid Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins and New England Patriots fan. He was a communicant of SS Rose and Clement Parish in Warwick and resided in Warwick since 1958.

In addition to his beloved wife, Wilson is survived by his loving daughter: Kerry M. Brown of Warwick; a nephew: Dennis F. O'Brien of Seekonk and four nieces: Kathleen V. Jackson of North Providence, Nancy E. O'Brien-MacKinnon of New Harbor, ME, Patricia K. Markle of El Cerrito, CA and Rosemary Siple of Rehoboth, MA.

He was the beloved brother of the late Donald L. Brown.

His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 10 AM in SS Rose and Clement Parish, 111 Long Street, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 8 AM - 9:30 AM in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Burial with military honors will follow in the Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory may be made to: St. Rosa of Lima School, 200 Brentwood Avenue, Warwick, RI 02886.
