Concetta (Scavone) Romano, 75, of Warwick, died Wednesday, September 20, 2017 peacefully at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Nicola V. Romano.

Born in Sicily, Italy she was the daughter of the late Benedetto and Giuseppina (Trasara) Scavone.

Concetta served on the staff at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Warwick for 36 years.

Concetta is survived by her loving children: Leonardo Romano (Christina), Angela R. Christianson (Bob), Pina Romano and Marcella Romano; a brother: Joseph Scavone; a sister: Angela Cioffi; and five cherished grandchildren: Maria, Joseph, Dana, Nicolas and Gabriel.

She was the sister of the late Luigi Scavone.

A concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 3252 Post Road, Warwick. Burial will follow in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
