Judith A. (Gillan) Sears, 74 of Cranston, died Friday September 15, 2017 in the West Shore Health Center in Warwick. She was the wife of Richard Lawrence Sears and the late Robert A. Galipeau, Sr.

Born in Providence, Judith was a daughter of the late William E. and Julianne (Cybulski) Gillan.

Judith was employed as a Manager of the Garden Center at Walmart in Warwick for many years until retiring in 2001.

Judith is survived by her beloved children: Robert A Galipeau, Jr. (Kelly) of Howard, Ohio, Shawn A. Galipeau (Lisa) of Hilton Head, South Carolina, William E. Galipeau (Anne) of Greensboro, North Carolina and Cathleen M. Sears (Christine S. Forsyth) of Cranston. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

She was the loving sister of the late William E. Gillan, Jr.

Her funeral service is private.

Funeral arrangements are entrusted to The URQUHART-MURPHY Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick.
