John Castriotta, Jr., 64, of North Providence, died Monday, August 14, 2017 at home. He was the loving fiancé of Denise P. Themuda. Born in Providence, John was the beloved son of the late John Castriotta, Sr. and Josephine (Cioffi) Castriotta.

John was a self-employed Master Electrician and can be best described as "a caring Christian gentleman." John was devoted to his family and was a sports enthusiast. He had a great devotion to music. John was a master technician in the music field, a "roady," and set up equipment for a number of bands in years past.

In addition to his fiancé, John is also survived by his beloved sisters: Joan Watts of Cranston, Annette Hassell of St. Petersburg, FL, Elaine Goldstein of North Providence and Diane J. Clarke of Providence; a brother-in-law: Burton W. Goldstein; and many nieces and nephews.

His visitation will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, followed by a service at 1:00 pm, in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. John will be laid to rest with his beloved parents on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 11:00 AM in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, 100 Harrison Avenue, Warwick. All are welcome to attend.
