Eleanor M. (Winn) Ulmschneider, 96, formerly of Warwick, died Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Home in East Greenwich. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles A. Ulmschneider.
Born in Providence, Eleanor was a daughter of the late Henry M. and Ellen (Croghan) Winn.
Eleanor was employed as a Payroll Clerk Supervisor at the former Narragansett Brewery in Cranston, retiring in 1981 after 28 years of service. Earlier she was employed at A. D. Julliard Mills for five years and Esmond Mills for eight years.
Eleanor was an Alumnea of Bryant College and a communicant of St. Mark Church in Garden City, Cranston.
Eleanor is survived by her step-children: Charianne Magnan of Weirsdale, FL, Suzanne McHale of Summerfield, FL and Charles A. Ulmschneider, Jr. of Maine; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was the beloved sister of the late Henry Winn, Edward Winn, Leo Winn, Thomas Winn, Kathleen C. Reynolds, Marion F. McLaughlin, Madeline C. Donovan and A. Rita Garland.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 10 AM in St. Mark Church, 15 Garden Ct., Cranston. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800-812 Greenwich Ave., Warwick, on Saturday, August 12, 2017 from 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
