Cynthia A. Carter passed away peacefully in her home at Sillwater Commons of Harrisville on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at the age of 73.

Cynthia is predeceased by her father, Clarence A. Parker, her mother, Mary Alice Parker, her brother Clarence A. Parker, Jr., and her Godmother Kathryn Temple Johnstad

Cynthia was a long time Communicant of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Wickford, where she sang in the choir. She was a loving and dedicated mother, grandmother, accomplished seamstress and creative craftsperson. In her later years, her compassion was evident caring for her extended family at Stillwater Commons where she served as President of the Advocacy Association.

Cynthia is lovingly remembered by her children: John Carter of AZ, Christine Ducharme & her husband Ted of Burrillville, RI and Melissa Johnson and her husband Bryan of Honolulu, HI.

She was the loving grandmother of Amanda Kotarski, Matthew Enos, Wesley Carter, Cara Buzzi, Nicholas Buzzi, Ryan Enos, Ian Carter, Christopher Johnson, Jeremy Carter, Cameron Ducharme, Holly Carter, Keira Carter, & great-grandmother of Domenic Kotarski, Braydon Carter, Julia Rose Carter, Colton John Carter, & Brynne Hayes.

She leaves her loving sisters: Constance A. Emry of Florida & Clare A. Parker of Exeter.

Her Requiem Eucharist will be held Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 10:00 am in the Chapel of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 55 Main Street, Wickford. Burial will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD.
