Geneva M. (Conn) Stamp, 92, of Cranston died Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Briarcliffe Gardens. She was the beloved wife of the late Walter S. Stamp, Sr.

Born in Cranston, Geneva was a daughter of the late Raymond and Alice (Fawcett) Conn.

Geneva was employed as a Telephone Operator at the former N.E. Telephone Company until retiring and was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.

Geneva is survived by her beloved sons: Walter S. Stamp, Jr. and his wife Diane and Gary K. Stamp and his wife Diane, all of Cranston; five grandchildren: Leah, Bethany, Eric, Andrew and Timothy and three great-grandchildren.

She was the sister of the late Raymond, Alton, Kenneth and Earl Conn.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 11 AM in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Ave., Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 9 AM - 11 AM. Burial will follow in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
