Anna F. (Anderson) Etchells, 94, of Warwick died Saturday, July 15th at Kent Regency.  She was the beloved wife of the late Irving M. Etchells.  Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Archibald R. and Anna F. (Bailey) Anderson.

Anna was employed as an Accounts Receivable Clerk for Hammel Dahl, Co. until retiring in 1983.  She was kind and devoted to her family and loved ones and was described as "the best mother in the world."  Anna also had an amazing sense of humor.

She is survived by her loving children: David A. Etchells (Brenda J. Boyd) and Joan E. Etchells, all of Warwick and Anne F. Brown (Phillip M.) of No. Kingstown; her cherished grandchildren: Daniel and Matthew Etchells, Sarah Murray (Stephen) and Andrew Brown; and 3 great-grandchildren: Juniper, Shepard and Madison.  She was the beloved sister of the late Catherine E. Haenel.  

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 9 AM from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Ave., Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Benedict Church, 135 Beach Ave., Warwick.  Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 PM - 7 PM.  Burial will take place in Pocasset Cemetery, Cranston.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be made to:  Cornerstone Adult Services, 2364 Post Road, Suite 100, Warwick, RI 02886.
