Meredith L. (Jordan) Nelson, 70, of Coventry died July 12, 2017 at Kent Hospital. She was the beloved wife of forty-nine years to Keith N. Nelson. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late George F. and Virginia F. (Lord) Jordan.

Meredith was employed at Kent Hospital as an EKG Technician, retiring in 2013 after 39 years of service. She was also a member of Warwick Central Baptist Church and Bryant College Alumni Association.

In addition to her husband, Meredith is survived by her loving daughters: Kristin L. Osberg (Brian) of Coventry, Kelly L. Buratti (James) of No. Attleboro, MA and Courtney L. Nelson of Coventry; her mother-in-law: Lucielle A. Nelson of Warwick; two siblings: David Jordan (Maureen) of Johnston and Donna Colburn (William) of Ashville, NC; and six cherished grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Karina, Kara, Hunter, Tyler and Jenna.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Cameron.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 10 AM in Warwick Central Baptist Church, 3270 Post Road, Warwick. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 from 4 PM - 8 PM in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Ave., Warwick. Burial will take place in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
