Kenneth J. Low, Sr. of Vergennes, VT, died Tuesday June 6, 2017 at The University of Vermont Medical Center. Born in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late George A. Low, Sr. and Margaret (Kelley) Low.

Ken worked in the trucking industry for 26 years and as a school bus driver for 28 years. He treasured time spent with the Aube family of Hinesburg, VT. Ken retired in 2008 and spent his retirement on his eldest daughter's farm in Vermont, where he particularly enjoyed spending time with the animals and attending Middlebury College hockey games.

Mr. Low served in the U.S. Air Force.

He is survived by his daughters Dawn E. Jones-Low (Thomas) of Vergennes, VT, and Robin Lynn Low of Warwick, and son Kenneth J. Low Jr. of Cranston and his siblings James Low of Warwick, Mina Ross and Carol Kanea both of Warwick, Cynthia Gallagher of Colorado and Patricia Waterman of Johnston.

He was the devoted grandfather of Samantha, Kenneth, Shawn and Mya and beloved uncle of numerous nieces and nephews.

He was also the brother of the late George A. Low, Jr.

His funeral service will be held Monday, June 12, 2017 in THE URQUHART - MURPHY Funeral Home, 800 Greenwich Ave., Warwick, ( Exit 12A off of I -95) at 11:00am. Visitation will take place at the funeral home Monday from 10 to 11 AM. Interment with military honors will follow at the R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to the Addison County Humane Society, 236 Boardman St., Middlebury, VT 05753 will be appreciated.
