George T. Christianson, 87, of Warwick died Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Barbara L. (Brennan) Christianson.
Born in Providence, George was a son of the late George T. Christianson, Sr. and Lillian (Batastini) Christianson. George was employed as a security officer at the American-Hoechst Chemical Company, retiring in 1990.
In addition to his beloved wife, George is also survived by his loving children: Robert G. Christianson (Angela) and Julie A. Forte (Ed), all of Warwick and two cherished grandchildren: Maria and Joseph. He was the brother of the late Betty Pontarelli.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 10 AM in St. Kevin Church, 333 Sandy Lane, Warwick. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Burial will be private.
