Joan E. Patnaude, 74, of Warwick, died Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at home. She was the beloved wife of the late Ernest B. Patnaude, Jr. Born in Providence, Joan was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Bennett) LaMake.
Joan was employed as a bookkeeper at Peletor, Inc. in East Providence and was an office manager at Colonial Oldsmobile in Providence. She was a member of the Order of the Rainbow, Cranston Assembly II and enjoyed roller skating, bowling and jitterbug dancing. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren.
Joan is survived by her two cherished children: Joy B. Patnaude and Joseph R. Patnaude and his wife Melissa, all of Warwick; two sisters: Margaret Sandin of Coventry and Doris Rossi of Warwick; six beloved grandchildren: Ashley, James, Ariana, Peter, Zachery and MacKenzie-Rose; and a great-grandson: Dublin.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Noon in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10 AM - 12 PM. Burial will follow in Greenwood Burial Ground.
