Robert E. Ball, Sr., 85, of Warwick, died Sunday, April 16, 2017 at Kent Regency. He was the beloved husband of the late Lois F. (Wood) Ball. Born in East Hamburg, New York, Robert was a son of the late Edward G. Ball, Sr. and Edna Ball.

Robert was employed as a Maintenance Technician at Picerne Properties for fifty years until retiring. He honorably served in the US Navy during the Korean War and enjoyed fishing.

Robert is survived by two cherished sons: Robert E. Ball, Jr. and his wife Cynthia A. Ball and Richard E. Ball and his wife Cynthia J. Ball, all of Warwick; two brothers: Donald Ball of Tennessee and Edward G. Ball, Jr. of New York; four beloved grandchildren: Elizabeth (Richard), Susan (Jon), Erin (Matt) and Laurie (Juan); and five great-grandchildren: Jayden, Emilia, Elena, Sam and Matt.

His funeral and burial are private.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory may be made to: VNA Care of New England Hospice, 51 Health Lane, Warwick, RI 02886.
