Nancy A. (Avedisian) Sullivan, 86, of Warwick died Tuesday, April 11, 2017. She was the wife of the late Robert B. Sullivan, Sr. Born in Providence, Nancy was the daughter of the late Arsen G. and Esther (Tillman) Avedisian.
Nancy was a civil servant for the State of RI for 16 years, retiring in 1990 and a CASA Volunteer assigned to Kent County for 23 years. A communicant of Trinity Episcopal Church, she was also a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed traveling.
Nancy is survived by her cherished children: Jane Cherms and her husband Raymond of Warwick and Robert B. Sullivan, Jr. of Brookfield, VT; 6 grandchildren: Gabriel, Sadie, Kelly, Michael, Dakota and Dylan; and 3 great-grandchildren. She was the beloved mother of the late Anne E. Sullivan and sister of the late George E. Avedisian.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 10:00AM in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Ave., Warwick. Visiting hours on Monday from 5:00PM - 8:00PM. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, gifts to: Make a Wish Foundation, 20 Hemingway Dr., Riverside, RI 02915 would be appreciated.
