Robert A. Carosi, 67, of North Kingstown, died Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Brentwood Nursing Home. Born in Cranston, he was a son of the late Aristide and Gertrude (Anderson) Carosi.

Robert was an educator in the Warwick School Department for over 30 years until retiring where he taught Art, Creative Writing and Computers. Robert was a trained drummer, music enthusiast and an artist. He was a graduate of Warwick Veterans High School and RI College. Robert was a sports enthusiast who especially enjoyed soccer and tennis and was an avid fan of the New England Sports Teams.

He is survived by his cherished son: Jonathan R. Carosi and his wife Heather of Coventry; three siblings: William D. Carosi and his wife Jane of Warwick, Edward A. Carosi and his wife JoAnn of North Providence and Carol Wheat of Warwick; a beloved grandson: Daniel R. Carosi of Coventry; and many nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 11:00AM in Warwick Central Baptist Church, 3270 Post Road, Warwick. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 4:00PM - 7:00PM in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Ave., Warwick. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory may be made to: The American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd., # 3004, Warwick, RI 02886.
