Carrie M. Goodlett, 96, of Warwick, a homemaker, died Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Kent Hospital.  She was the beloved wife of the late John W. Goodlett.  Born in Stockton, California, Carrie was a daughter of the late Daniel D. and Mary Elizabeth (Little) Schneider.

Carrie was a former Secretary and Treasurer at the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Santa Monica, CA.  She was also a life member of the D.A.V. and a Secretary at the Fleet Reserve Association, both in California.  Carrie enjoyed traveling and walking.  She was an expert needle worker and an accomplished organist, pianist and choir singer.  

Carrie is survived by her loving children:  John W. Goodlett, Jr. of Refugio, TX, Daniel E. Goodlett and his wife Ruth of Eugene, OR and Verna Marie McMahon of Warwick; six cherished grandchildren:  Michael W. McMahon and his wife Maureen, Thomas F. McMahon, Justin A. Goodlett, Alyssa R. Goodlett, Shane Imes and Evan Imes; five great-grandchildren:  Matthew J. McMahon and his wife Martyna, Melissa E. McMahon, Michael W. McMahon, Jr., Eric Imes and Haley Imes; and two great-great-granddaughters:  Olivia McMahon and Elizabeth McMahon.  

Her funeral service will be private.  Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.  Burial will take place at a later date in Woodlawn Cemetery in Santa Monica, CA.  In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be made to:  VNA of Care New England Hospice, 51 Health Lane, Warwick, RI 02886.  

Funeral arrangements entrusted to THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Ave., Warwick.
