John A. "Tony" Bourget, 61, of Wickford, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, April 7, 2017. He was the loving husband of Christine M. (Odoardi) Bourget. Born in Albert, VA, he was a son of the late Joseph G. Bourget & Mary B. (Samford) Bourget.

Tony was a self-employed contractor and talented craftsman. An avid sailor, he held a Captain's license and lived on his boat in Wickford Harbor for many years. He was the former manager of the East Greenwich Yacht Club. Tony loved scuba diving, motorcycling, and all things Harley Davidson.

In addition to his wife, he leaves his loving daughter Jessica J. Bourget of North Kingstown, step-children Bryan C. Potter of North Grafton, MA, Michael R. Potter of North Grafton, MA, and Kathrin R. Potter of Narragansett. He was the cherished brother of Norman J. Bourget and his wife Pat of Woonsocket and Michael G. Bourget and his wife Donna of Pascoag. He also leaves many loving nieces & nephews.

His Requiem Eucharist will be held Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 1:00 pm in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 55 Main Street, Wickford. Burial will be private. Calling Hours are respectfully omitted. Kindly omit flowers.
