Warren M. Ferguson, 67, of North Kingstown, died Saturday, March 25, 2017 at South County Hospital. He was the loving husband of Nancy E. (Manley) Hamilton. Born in Pawtucket, he was a son of the late Robert J. Ferguson & Laura M. (Howard) Ferguson.

Mr. Ferguson worked as a material handler for the U.S. Navy until his retirement. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, being honorably discharged as Sergeant. He was a member of the Wincheck Gun Club of West Greenwich.

Besides his wife, he leaves his step-son, William A. Hamilton and his wife Joanne of Narragansett. He was the step-father of the late Elizabeth L. Cote. Cherished brother of Wayne N. Ferguson of Preston, CT, Howard R. Ferguson of Chepachet, Robert J. Ferguson of North Providence, Brian Ferguson of Johnston, & the late Beryl M. Livingston, Kendall R. Ferguson, & Jo-Ann M. Willigan. He was the step- grandfather of David Hamilton, Billy Hamilton, Gregory Hamilton, and Nancy Hamilton. He also leaves many nieces & nephews.

His committal service with full Military Honors will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 10:30 am in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 South County Trail, Exeter. Relatives & friends are invited and asked to meet at the administration building parking lot at 10:15 am prior to the service. Calling Hours are respectfully omitted.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to the North Kingstown-Exeter Animal Protection League, P.O. Box, 83, North Kingstown, RI 02852 will be appreciated.

Arrangements have been entrusted to THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD.
