Jean F. (Chappell) Nordon, 82, of Wyoming, RI passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Franklin A. Nordon. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Robert J. and Celia M. (DiBlasio) Chappell.
Mrs. Nordon was a secretary in a physician's office until her retirement. She was a graduate of U.R.I.
She was the beloved mother of Christopher M. Nordon and his wife Dr. Sharon Y. Chang of Wyoming, RI and Scott M. Nordon and his fiancée Lisa R. Nolte of Tyler, TX. Loving grandmother of four. Caring sister of Robert Chappell of Florida.
Relatives and friends are invited to Visitation on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 1:00-2:00 pm followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 pm in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Burial in All Saints Cemetery, Warwick.
