Shirley J. (Rachko) McLeod, 82, of Warwick, passed away on February 19, 2017 at Tockwotton on the Waterfront.  She was the wife of the late Edwin A. McLeod.  Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Rosalie (Matto) Rachko.
   
Mrs. McLeod was an Administrative Assistant for Cardi Corp.  She was  past president of the R.I. Junior Women's Club and a member of the Thirty niners Club
    
She was the beloved mother of Douglas E. McLeod (Col. USA Ret.) and his wife Kim of Johnston, Donald J. McLeod and his wife Donna of Manchester, Maine, Robert S. McLeod of Warwick and Janet McLeod-Rosenfield and her husband Kenneth of Newton, MA.  Loving grandmother of thirteen and great grandmother of three.  Caring sister of Anne Robertson of Narragansett and the late Joseph Rachko.
   
Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 11:00 am in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95).  Burial in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown.  Relatives and friends are invited.  Calling Hours will be held on Thursday from 4:00-8:00 pm.
   
In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care RI, 1085 No. Main St., Providence, RI 02904 or N.E. Wildlife Center, 500 Columbian St., South Weymouth, MA 02190 would be appreciated.
