Barbara Secor Greene, 54, of North Kingstown, passed away peacefully on the evening of Thursday, February 9th. She was the beloved wife of David M. Greene for 29 years.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Albert M. Secor Jr. and Shirley E. Porter of North Kingstown. She was also stepdaughter of the late George S. Porter of North Kingstown.
Mrs. Greene loved to spend time with her family and working around her home.
In addition to her husband, she leaves two beloved sons, Travis C. Greene and Tyler D. Greene, both of North Kingstown; a sister, Sandra A. Laney of St. Louis, Missouri and a brother, Ronald A. Secor Sr. of East Canton, Ohio. She also leaves two stepbrothers: Gary A. Porter of North Attleboro, Massachusetts and Richard D. Porter of North Kingstown.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 19th, from 1pm-4pm, with a brief service to follow at THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 West Main Street, Wickford Village, North Kingstown. Funeral and burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the First Baptist Church of North Kingstown, 1135 Tower Hill Road, North Kingstown, RI, 02852.
