Marjorie C. (Farrell) Johnson, 95, of Warwick passed away on January 16, 2017 at Greenwood Center. She was the wife of the late Carl J. Johnson. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Charles E. and Clara E. (Gavigan) Farrell.
Mrs. Johnson was a Bookkeeper for Crafts, Inc. in Warwick for 10 years then the Aurora Civic Assn. in Providence until her retirement. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Warwick, the Scituate Senior Citizens and a former member of the "Red Hat" Society of Scituate.
She was the loving mother of Carl R. Johnson of Warwick. Cherished sister of Leo Farrell and Ronald A. Farrell, both of Cranston, Evelyn A. Siczewicz of West Hartford, CT, Jean M. Vient of Warwick and the late Edward J., Charles E. and Robert J. Farrell and Frances I. Paine.
The family would like to thank and extend its appreciation to the staff members at Greenwood Center for their loving care of Marjorie.
Her funeral will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 9:00 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 3252 Post Road, Warwick. Burial in St. Ann Cemetery. Calling Hours will be held on Thursday from 5-7 pm.
