John L. Beiermann, 74, of East Greenwich, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2017 at Brookdale in Smithfield.  He was the beloved husband of Margaret M. (Barrett) Beiermann.  Born in Harvel, IL, he was a son of the late Clarence and Naomi (Gilbert) Beiermann.
   
Mr. Beiermann was a Master Electrician with Texas Instruments in Attleboro, MA until he retired after 38 years of service.  He also served in The United States Navy.  He was a graduate of New England Tech and a communicant of Our Lady of Mercy Church.
   
He was the loving father of John L. Beiermann, II and his wife Jennifer of West Warwick and Erin Valutkevich and her husband Stephen of Franklin, MA.  Cherished grandfather of Sean, Kathleen and Andrew.  Caring brother of Lee Beiermann of Virginia and Thallah Hughes of Illinois.
   
His funeral will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 9:00 am from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in Our Lady of Mercy Church, Fourth Avenue, East Greenwich.  Burial, with military honors, in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery.  Relatives and friends are invited.  Calling Hours will be held on Thursday from 4-8 pm.
   
In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to The Alzheimer's Assn., 245 Waterman St., Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906 would be appreciated.
