Linda L. (Pierce) Mortin, 70, of North Kingstown, died peacefully on Sunday, January 1, 2017. She was the wife of Robert S. Mortin, Sr. Born in South Kingstown, she was the daughter of the late Alonzo Pierce, Sr. & Florence (Whitford) Pierce.
Mrs. Mortin was Homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a Communicant of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Wickford.
Besides her husband, she leaves her son: Christopher T. Mortin, Sr. of North Kingstown and her daughter-in-law Evelyn Mortin of North Kingstown. She was the mother of the late Robert S. Mortin, Jr. & Sherry L. Mortin. Cherished grandmother of Shelby N. Mortin of North Kingstown, Christopher T. Mortin, Jr. of North Kingstown, Tyler P. Lake of Warwick, Courtney E. Mortin of North Kingstown, & Corey R. Mortin of North Kingstown. She was the sister of the late Robert Pierce & Alonzo Pierce, Jr.
Her Requiem Eucharist will be held Saturday, January 7, 2016 at 11:00 am in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 55 Main Street, Wickford. Burial will be private. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to the Polycystic Kidney Disease Foundation, PO Box 871847, Kansas City, MO 64187 will be appreciated.
