Thomas J. Madden, Jr., 79, of Exeter died Friday, November 25, 2016 at home.  He was the beloved husband of Palma J. (Cinquegrano) Madden.

Born in East Providence, Thomas was a son of the late Thomas Joseph Madden, Sr. and Sarah (Walsh) Madden.  He was employed as an accountant at the Hudson Corporation.  Thomas served in the US Army and was a life member of the D.A.V.

In addition to his beloved wife, Thomas is survived by a daughter:  Nancy Madden of West Warwick; a sister:  Evelyn Kalinyak of NY; and a grandson:  Nicholas Madden.  He was the brother of the late Sarah Goulin and Alice Lyons.  

His funeral will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at 11 AM in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick.  Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 AM - 11 AM.  Burial with military honors will take place in RI Veteran Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
