Albert G. Wahl, Jr., 94, of Cranston died Friday, November 18, 2016 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center in Providence. Born in Providence, Albert was a son of the late Albert G. Wahl, Sr. and Esther C. (Anderson) Wahl.

Prior to his retirement, Albert was employed as a grocery clerk at Stop & Shop and previously was employed at Almacs. He honorably served in the US Army during WWII and enjoyed painting and gardening.

Albert is survived by two devoted daughters: Deborah Ann Wahl of North Kingstown and Susan Marie Parmelee (John) of North Scituate; his siblings: Howard E. Wahl of Warwick, Wilbur W. Wahl of FL, Melvin E. Wahl of Exeter, James "Spencer" Wahl of Warwick, Florence M. Smith of Exeter, Doris E. McVicker of Utah and Ruth Gumaskas of CA.

He was the brother of the late John A. Wahl and Robert R. Wahl.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at 10:15 AM from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Ave., Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in St. Bernard Church, 275 Tower Hill Road, North Kingstown. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 8:30 AM - 10:15 AM. Burial with military honors will follow in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.

Kindly omit flowers. Gifts in his memory may be made to: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
