Burney A. Kieke, 92, of North Kingstown, died peacefully on Tuesday, November 15, 2016.  He was the husband of the late Helen C. (Lafreniere) Kieke & the late Helen C. (Kristynik) Kieke.  Born in Burton, TX, he was a son of the late Ewald Kieke & Nora (Hackemack) Kieke.  

Mr. Kieke attended Bentley College and worked in the financial division of the Leesona Corporation for 37 years until his retirement.  He was a communicant of St. Bernard Church and member of the American Legion in Wallis, TX.  

He leaves his four loving children: Frances A. Kieke and her companion Edward Fitzgerald, Jr. of North Kingstown, Diane M. Melton and her husband Craig C. of Charleston, SC, Debra E. Kieke and her wife Jennifer J. of Saunderstown, and Burney A. Kieke, Jr. and his wife Amy of Marshfield, WI. He was the grandfather of Monica Kieke & David Kieke of Marshfield, WI, Dwight Melton and Lauren Dickerson of Charleston, SC, and great-grandfather of Elsie Dickerson and Louis Dickerson of Charleston, SC.  He was the brother of the late Nelson Kieke, Allyne Lincke, and Ewald Kieke, Jr.  

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 9:00 am in St. Bernard Church, 275 Tower Hill Rd. Wickford.  Burial with Full Military Honors will follow in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.  Calling Hours are respectfully omitted. 

In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory to"The Seabee Museum and Memorial Park" and mail to Seabee Museum and Memorial Park, 21 Lafrate Way, North Kingstown, RI 02852. Credit Card donations may be made at www.seabeesmuseum.com/donations will be appreciated. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD.
