Jeannette A. Lapointe, 93, of Pawtucket died Friday, November 11, 2016 at the St. Jeanne Jugan Residence. Born in Central Falls, she was a daughter of the late Joseph C. and Philomene (Levesque) Lapointe.
Jeannette was employed as a supervisor at the Swank Company in Attleboro until retiring in 1988 after 49 years of service. A former resident of South Attleboro, she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing and traveling.
Jeannette is survived by two sisters: Alice D. Gattinella of East Providence and Florence V. Laroche of Wallingford, CT and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Rita Lapointe, Sr. Xavier de St. Dominque, LSP and Lucy Lebeau.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at 10:45 AM in the Chapel of St. Jeanne Jugan Residence, 964 North Main Street, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the St. Jeanne Jugan Residence on Tuesday Morning from 9 AM - 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
