Nancy E. Chilvers, 74, of Warwick died Saturday, October 29, 2016 at home.  She was the beloved wife of Ernest H. Chilvers.

Born in Providence, Nancy was a daughter of the late Arthur and Laura (Acres) Chivers. She was a graduate of Warwick Veterans High School.  Nancy was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Warwick.

In addition to her husband, Nancy is survived by her loving children:  Ernest A. Chilvers of Warwick, Lora Jean Gooch of Johnston, Mark W. Chilvers of Cranston and Aaron S. Chilvers of Warwick; a sister: Sharon White of Nashua, NH; fourteen grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was the mother of the late Seth Chivers.

Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 11 AM in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1000 Narragansett Parkway, Warwick.  Burial will follow in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.  Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
 
In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be made to: J. Arthur Trudeau Memorial Center, 3445 Post Road, Warwick, RI 02886.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick.
