Daniel M. Kane, 96, of Warwick passed away on Friday, October 7, 2016 at Roberts Health Center. He was the husband of the late Ruth N. (Acres) Kane. Born in East Providence, he was one of twelve children born to the late Daniel M. and Edith (Stott) Kane.
Mr. Kane was a member of Teamster's Union, Local 251 for 30 years, retiring in 1987. He also served in The United States Army during WW II. He was a member of Oakland Beach Volunteer Fire Co., and American Legion, East Greenwich Post 15 and William Shields Post 43.
He was the loving father of Mrs. David J. (Sandra L. ) Scotti of East Greenwich and Mrs. William A. (Linda M.) Beaulieu of The Villages, Florida. Cherished grandfather of Shawna Scotti and great grandfather of Tyler Joseph Scotti and Sadie Lee Scotti. Caring brother of Mildred Andreozzi of Barrington and Eileen Pringle of Riverside.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 11:30 am in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Route 5, Warwick (Exit 12A on I-95). Burial in R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
