Margaret L. Jackson, 88, of Cumberland, formerly of Warwick, died peacefully on Friday, September 16, 2016 at Landmark Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Clifford S. Jackson.
Born in Providence, Margaret was one of five children of the late John and Mary (Lucey) O'Leary. She was a telephone operator for New England Telephone until retiring in 1983 and served in the U.S. Air Force. Margaret was a longtime communicant of St. Catherine of Siena Church.
Margaret is also survived by her children: Karen A. Ritchie of Cranston, Jeanne M. Jackson (late Anthony Esposito, Jr.) of Johnston and Clifford J. Jackson (Karyn) of Richmond; five grandchildren: Dustin, Sean, Shea, Hannah and Lily; and a great-granddaughter: Violet. She was the mother of the late James M. Jackson.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 11 AM in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 3252 Post Road, Warwick. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 9:30 AM - 10:30 AM in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Ave., Warwick. Burial with military honors in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Kindly omit flowers.
