Eleanor A. Cote, 91, of Warwick died September 3, 2016 at Kent Regency.  She was the wife of the late Joseph Cote.

Born in Cranston, Eleanor was a daughter of the late Francis F. and Ruth H. (Kelly) Davis.  She was a supervisor at the Foxon Packaging Company until retiring and a member of the Salvation Army for over fifty years and served as the Director of Women Ministries and Home League Secretary for over forty years.  Eleanor was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the VFW Auxiliary.

Eleanor is survived by her children:  Ruth M. Becker of Warwick, Patricia I. Iasimone of Cranston, Eleanor J. Wilsey of Richmond, Phyllis A. Humphrey of Saunderstown, Mark A. Cote of Jamestown and Gloria L. Pinheiro of Cranston; a brother:  Robert E. Davis of Warwick. She was also a cherished grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother.  

Eleanor was the mother of the late Elizabeth A. Wrightington and sister of the late Richard Davis, Florence Kenney, Marion Brulle and Kenneth Davis.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 10 AM in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Ave., Warwick.  Visiting hours on Wednesday from 5 PM - 8 PM in the funeral home.  Burial will take place in Woodland Cemetery, Coventry.
