Yanelis Torres-Velez, 20, of Johnston died Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at home. Born in North Providence, Yanelis was the beloved daughter of Iviana Torres-Velez and Jose Luis Rodriguez.

Yanelis is also survived by her grandmother: Candida Hall; an aunt: Maria M. Hudson and her siblings: Marangely Torres, Marieli Torres, Carlos Torres, George Torres, Tiana Anderson, Marilyn Rodriguez, Elsa Rodriguez, Margie Rodriguez, Maria Rodriguez, Lourdes Morales, Maria Ruiz, Mildred Rodriguez, Minerua Rodriguez and Jose Luis Rodriguez and her West Bay family and countless others whom loved her.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016 at Noon in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Friday, August 19, 2016 from 11 AM - 1 PM. Burial will be private.
