Dorothy (Casquilla) Fandetti, 96, of North Kingstown, formerly of Providence, died peacefully on Friday, August 12, 2016 at Scalabrini Villa. She was the wife of the late Onofrio P. Fandetti. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Casquilla and Louise (Rodriguez) Casquilla.
Mrs. Fandetti was employed as a factory worker with the former Fram Corporation. She also worked for 25 years in the Providence school lunch program at Veazie Street School. In her younger years, she was an acrobat and dancer during the Vaudeville Era.
She leaves her loving sons: Brian P. Fandetti and his wife Cynthia of Wakefield and Peter J. Fandetti and his wife Michelle of Sherman Oaks, CA. She was the mother of the late Angelo W. Fandetti. Cherished grandmother of Alexander Fandetti of Wakefield, Michael Fandetti of Sherman Oaks, CA, Peter J. FAndetti, Jr. of Rocher, NY, and Graham Parker of Boston, MA.
