Peter J. Yuras, 78, of Warwick, died Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Rhode Island Hospital.  He was the beloved husband of Isabel M. (Schuchardt) Yuras.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, Peter was a son of the late Peter and Julia (Mistyhn) Yuras.  He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.  Peter was the owner and operator of R.I. Communications Corporation.  

Besides his wife, Peter is also survived by his loving children:  Paul J. Yuras (Karen) of Warwick, Thomas E. Yuras (Kerri) of Uxbridge, MA, Catherine M. Faucher (Steven) of West Yarmouth, MA and Cynthia L. Trivisonno of West Warwick; siblings: Walter Yuras of Monroe Township, NJ, Dorothy Wiley of Princeton, NJ, and Linda Montouri and Darlene Sanphy, both of Clayton, DE; twelve grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Peter was the loving father of the late Patricia Ann Yuras and brother of the late Stephen Yuras.

His funeral will be held on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 8:30 AM from THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Ave., Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:30 AM in St. Catherine of Siena Church, 3252 Post Road, Warwick.  Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home on Sunday, August 14, 2016 from 4 PM - 8 PM.  Graveside burial will take place in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
