Joseph P. DeAngelis, 99, of Cranston passed away on Monday, August 1, 2016 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Center.  He was the beloved husband of Mary J. (Bolvin) DeAngelis.  Born in Cranston, he was one of thirteen children born to the late Joseph and Josephine (Gemma) DeAngelis.
   
Mr. DeAngelis was a Foreman for Winsor Publishing Co. in Providence until his retirement at age 85. 

He served in The United States Army during WW II.  A devoted Catholic, he was a parishioner of St. Mark Church and a life member of the Knights of Columbus. 
   
He is also survived by his loving children Joseph S. DeAngelis, Gary S. DeAngelis and Mary Jane DeAngelis; his caring sisters Esther Pandolfini and Angie Schiavitti; and two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
   
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 10:00 am in St. Mark Church, Garden City Drive, Cranston followed by burial, with full military honors, in St. Ann Cemetery.  Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
