Barbara M. Ryan, of Warwick, died Saturday, July 30, 3016 at home.  She was the beloved wife of John F. Ryan, Jr.

Born in Providence, Barbara was a daughter of the late John L. and Louise G. (Bump) Healey.  She was employed as a sales consultant at Filene's, retiring in 1990.  Barbara enjoyed playing golf, playing cards and was a member of Rolling Greens Golf League.  She also enjoyed quilting, crocheting and needlework.  

Barbara is also survived by her loving children:  John F. Ryan, III and his wife E. Diane of Alstead, NH, Michael E. Ryan of Ft. Worth, TX; and Kathleen Ann Morin of No. Kingstown; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

She was the mother-in-law of the late David Morin and sister of the late Raymond Healey and Virginia G. Underwood.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 4 PM - 7 PM in THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Ave., Warwick.  Her funeral and burial will be private.  

In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be made to:  The American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd., #3004, Warwick, RI 02886.
