Anna M. Fossa, 86, formerly of Providence, died Wednesday, July 27, 2016.  She was the wife of the late Albert G. Fossa.

Born in Providence, Anna was the daughter of the late Gaetano and Mary (Parisi) Calise.  

Anna is survived by a son: Kevin P. Fossa and his wife Gina M. of North Providence; a daughter: Karen M. Stefanik and her husband John R. of Blackstone, MA; a brother: Albert T. Calise of Sacramento, CA; and five grandchildren: Taylor A. Fossa, Paige A. Fossa, Alan J. Fossa, Brennan J. Stefanik and Kristin L. Perrino.

She was the mother of the late Alan E. Fossa and the sister of the late Gaetano and Frank Calise.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 11:00am in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston.  Relatives and friends are invited and may call at THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Ave., Warwick, RI on Monday morning from 8:30am - 10:00am.  Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Kindly omit flowers.
