Alice H. (Rhodes) O'Donnell-Maloney, beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Alice Hebert Rhodes, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at The St. Jeanne Jugan Residence where she had resided for many years.  She was the wife of the late Joseph F. O'Donnell, Sr., and the late William F. Maloney.  Alice was also pre-deceased by her sister Olive Sullivan, her brother Joseph Rhodes, her granddaughter Rita O'Donnell, her grandson Scott Ball, sons David and Phillip Maloney, stepdaughter Joan Orowson and son-in-law Bernard Pospishel.
   
Alice is survived by her sons Joseph F. O'Donnell of Pawtucket, William O'Donnell and his wife Mary of Cumberland, John O'Donnell and his wife Esther of Warwick, and her daughters Sandra Pospishel of Tennessee, Janice Ball of Connecticut and Gloria Maloney of Seattle, Washington, as well as 24 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, 4 great, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, and her good friend Donna of Seattle, Washington.
   
She enjoyed family get-togethers, picnics, bingos, traveling, crocheting for her family, and was an avid reader.
   
Alice worked as a waitress and cashier for many years in Rhode Island before moving to Connecticut for 22 years.  She returned to live in Rhode Island in 1999, where she had been born and raised.
   
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 10:00 am in The Chapel of The St. Jeanne Jugan Residence, 964 Main Street, Pawtucket followed by interment in St. Joseph Cemetery in Cumberland, RI.  Relatives and friends are invited.  Calling Hours will be held on Friday from 4:00-7:00 pm in The St. Jeanne Jugan Residence.
   
In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory to The Little Sisters of the Poor, 964 Main St., Pawtucket, RI 02860 would be appreciated.  Arrangements by THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME.
