90, of Pawtucket, died Friday, June 10th at the St. Jeanne Jugan Residence.  Born 1925 in Lincoln, Catherine was a daughter of the late Harold and Ellen (Howard) Winstanley.

Catherine lived in North Providence most of her life. She was employed at the former Lorraine Manufacturing Company and retired from Hasbro after 30 years.  

She joined the Smithfield Avenue Congregational Church in 1946 and taught Sunday School for over 30 years.  Catherine served on the Missionary Committee, the Flower Committee, the Board of Trusties, Deaconess Emeritus the Willing Workers, Girls Service Club and was a member of Church Women United and a life member of Pawtucket Community Players.

She is survived by a brother: Harold Winstanley, Jr. and his wife Carol of Glocester; a sister: Ann Rodriguez of Oregon; many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.  

Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at 9:30 AM in the St. Jeanne Jugan Chapel, 964 North Main Street, Pawtucket.  Visiting hours on Monday from 4-7pm in the St. Jeanne Jugan Residence.  Burial in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in her memory may be made to:  Smithfield Avenue Congregational Church, 514 Smithfield Ave., Pawtucket, RI 02860 or Little Sisters of the Poor.
