68, of North Kingstown, died peacefully at home on Saturday, June 4, 2016. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Clarence E. James & Anna L. (Taylor) James.
Mr. James worked as a legal clerk for the U.S. Army for many years until his retirement. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam & Korean Wars. He earned the Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm. He was a member of the American Legion Post 12 and the Disabled American Veterans.
He leaves his loving daughter, Chelsea A. James of Foster and his cherished granddaughter, Cassidy James Petit of North Kingstown.
A graveside service with full Military Honors will be held Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 11:00 am in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, 6365 Post Road, North Kingstown. Calling Hours are respectfully omitted.
